The Department of Civil Engineering (CE) was established in the year 2012 with a sanctioned intake of 60 and further extended to 120 in 2013. This program offers students a sound grounding in the fundamentals of civil engineering and prepares them to face the changing global scenario. The faculty moulds the students as change agents by imparting the latest developments in technology and research areas, taking into account professionalism, ethics, and sustainability in addition to curriculum. The three-year diploma course lays emphasis on practical work. The laboratories in the department are well equipped. Along with the curriculum provided by SBTE & SITTTR, the various trainings, expert talks, workshops, and industrial visits are regularly arranged by the department. The department is in close association with the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and has an active student chapter of it.
