The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) is the leading national professional non-profit society registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860. The Association of Principals of Technical Institutions (APTI) was transformed into the “Indian Society for Technical Education” in 1968 with a view to broaden its activities to advance the cause of technical education. One of the major objectives of ISTE is to assist and contribute to the production and development of top-quality professional engineers & technicians needed by the industries and other organizations.
The major objective of the ISTE is to provide quality training programs to teachers and administrators of technical institutions to update their knowledge and skills in their fields of activity and to assist and contribute in the production and development of top-quality professional engineers and technicians needed by the industry and other organizations.
STUDENT CHAPTER
The student chapter of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), New Delhi, was established at Malabar Polytechnic Campus during the academic year 2020-2021 with the motive of conducting numerous events to enhance the skill set of students for their all-around development. The chapter has 217 students enrolled, including those in the civil, electrical, electronics, and mechanical branches of the college.
